Soapine - Prince of Whales, He looks like Teddy Roosevelt but the “H. C. A. Prince - Whales” on his hat band is puzzling, maybe he's Prince Albert Edward who was Prince of Wales from 1841 until he became King Edward VII in 1901, shown on page 13 of “Soapine Did It!” by Cheadle and Lee. VG+, very light crease LR corner, glue stains along L & R edges of reverse. Brought $13.95 in Trade Card Place Auction 173 on 5/12/2011. |
