About The Author

Bruce Roberts has studied trade cards for over thirty years. In addition to several articles, he is the author of two books, Mechanical Bank Trade Cards and Clipper Ship Sailing Cards; see Books About Trade Cards.

Bruce is a technical writer by profession, specializing in software documentation, and lives in Vestal, NY, with his wife, Eve, and daughter, Rachel.
